A Little Heads-Up About Our Stairs 🌲 This condo has a flight of stairs, and all three bedrooms are located upstairs. If you're traveling with elderly loved ones, little ones, or anyone with mobility limitations, it's worth planning around. 🌲Air Conditioning: Like many homes in the Lake Tahoe area, this property does not have air conditioning due to the region's typically mild mountain climate. Evenings usually cool down quickly. We recommend opening the windows in the evening to let in the cool mountain air and keep the home comfortable. 😊 HOA Registration & Parking 🚗 Tahoe Tavern has security at the front gate, so every guest must be registered with the HOA prior to arrival by completing the HOA rental agreement. A maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed per stay, and you'll receive a rental tag to display on your dashboard. There is no assigned parking, but spots are typically easy to find. No trailers or campers are permitted on the property. Security & Peace of Mind ✅ There is no security system, but there is a Ring camera at the front entrance for safety and security. You'll also notice a bear mat at the entrance with on/off buttons inside and outside the door—please make sure it's turned on when you check out. It's up to you whether to turn it on overnight during your stay. 🐻 Bear Country 🐻 All trash must go in the bear bins by the unit. Trash pickup is on Fridays. Please never leave food outside or in your car overnight. Winter Travel (November–March) ❄️🚙 Tahoe winters are beautiful, but conditions can change quickly. Snow and chain controls are common during storms, so check road conditions before traveling and carry chains during snow season. Please plan extra travel time during storms.
